Which clients have you worked with?

Since launching in 2019, Human Risk has worked with a wide-range of organisations across the globe. Our focus is on industries that are regulated or are likely to be regulated. While we can't name many of them for confidentiality reasons, we've worked with companies ranging from chemical weapons inspectors to banks, regulators to utilities, pharmaceuticals to real estate.

You can find testimonials on the website and we can put you in touch with existing clients.

Where are you based?

Human Risk, is a London-based company. Our founder, Christian Hunt, divides his time between London and Munich, whenever possible, travelling between them by train.

He works with clients around the globe, virtually and in person, as required.

How can I get hold of you?

You can email us at info@human-risk.com or use the contact form on the website.

Do you do trial coaching sessions?

Yes! So that you can discover whether coaching is right for you, we offer a 'taster' session.

You can book that via https://calendly.com/human-risk/one-hour-coaching-trial-session?

What is human risk coaching?

Don't have a specific speaking, consulting or training requirement? Want ongoing support in implementing the skills you've learned in training? Then join an increasing number of clients on the Human Risk coaching program!

Christian will work with you to understand the challenges you’re facing & agree on an approach tailored to your needs. Whether that’s a weekly hour-long one-on-one session just for you or a monthly two-hour workshop for your entire team.

In one session, he might work with you on solving a specific Compliance challenge. In another, you might explore ideas for designing your new training course, & in the next, you'll explore how you can get senior management more engaged with your program. Perhaps you want us to spend our time together focused on one critical area, like improving regulatory interactions.

Christian wants to get you the best possible results, so if the approach needs to be adapted, he has the flexibility & experience to do so.

What is Christian's favourite beer?

Since he spends half of his time in Munich, he's a big fan of Bavarian beer and the Bavarian Reinheitsgebot (Purity Law of 1516) which limits the ingredients that can be put into beer. Particular favourites of his include Erdinger Weißbier — he recommends the Salvator — and Giesinger Helles.

What is Christian's favourite rule?

Christian's favourite rule is the Bavarian Reinheitsgebot (Purity Law) of 1516, which limits the ingredients that can be put into beer. Only barley, hops, water and (later) yeast, were permitted to be used in the making of beer; a rule which is still applied today.

Do you do 'in person' keynotes and workshops?

Christian is available – subject to existing diary commitments – to give keynotes and workshops anywhere in the world. As an alternative, he also delivers virtual sessions.

What is your travel policy?

Whenever possible, Christian travels by train. Not only is this more environmentally-friendly, but it also allows him to work more effectively on travel days.

Where can I buy a copy of 'Humanizing Rules'?

The book is available from all good booksellers (and some bad ones as well!). You can find a list of stores that stock it at https://www.linktr.ee/humanizingrules.

For bulk orders, get in touch as we can obtain it at discounted rates from the publisher.

How many staff do you have?

Human Risk is a 'company of one'. Where required, we work with partners who can provide Behavioural Science, Ethics and Compliance expertise at scale.

Do you have any open roles or opportunities for work experience?

At this time, we are not hiring. Given the size of the company, we are currently unable to offer work experience opportunities.

What do you mean by the phrase 'without pissing people off'?

The phrase is one that our founder Christian Hunt uses to stress the importance of understanding how our employees feel about what we are asking them to do. Not how we would like them to feel, but how they are likely to feel. Rules that piss people off are ones they're less likely to comply with.

The reason Christian uses this (slightly naughty!) formulation is because it resonates with most people; we've all come across things that piss us off.
