Yesterday, I gave my workshop attendees the easiest homework they've ever had.

This week I'm running client workshops, and one of the ideas we've been exploring is Compliance In The Wild; looking beyond compliance itself for lessons about influencing behaviour.

I've led 𝘊𝘐𝘛𝘞 walks before, where I curate the examples. But yesterday, as everyone headed off for the evening, it suddenly struck me: they're all going out into the wild anyway.

So I set them a challenge; bring back 𝗼𝗻𝗲 example of something you came across that made you think about compliance. No quality threshold, model answer or game to win.

And when I said 'example', I was thinking photo or video. But I also encouraged them, if the situation arises and it's legal, ethical, practical etc. to bring actual items.

I have no idea what this will produce — I'm writing this before I see them — but I'm absolutely fascinated what they might find. Because I think that once you start looking, the world becomes a giant compliance case study.

Let's see if I'm right. And if they're OK with it, I'll share some of the things they found.
