That word is ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฃ๐ข๐ณ.
Literally, it means ๐ช๐ฏ๐ค๐ข๐ญ๐ค๐ถ๐ญ๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆ: more aptly, ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฑ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ช๐ค๐ต๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆย or ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆ.

Itโs typically used as a negative to describe those who donโt conform to expected norms.ย
The kind of people who ask awkward questions, derail agendas, and donโt โfit inโ.
That might seem like an odd thing to celebrate in a compliance context.ย
But itโs what makes my work effective.
I'm not ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฃ๐ข๐ณย when it comes to being professional or meeting regulatory expectations; after all, I used to be a regulator. But I am when it comes to how I think.
Ideas that are ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฃ๐ข๐ณย โ predictable, calculable, comfortably familiar โ are easy to find internally. But solving problems sustainably and being more resilient require fresh ideas that are more likely to come from being ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฃ๐ข๐ณ.ย
So if you want insights and answers you can already work out for yourself, donโt hire me. Use your internal resources, or one of those consultants who write reports with conclusions you already know.
