is something Iโve been asked a lot recently.ย
Since the question is as much a โ๐ธ๐ฉ๐บโ as a โ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ธโ, let me answer both.

The obvious reason for posting here is sฬถhฬถoฬถwฬถiฬถnฬถgฬถ ฬถoฬถfฬถfฬถ marketing.ย
People canโt buy my services if they donโt know who I am or what I can do.ย
Rather than tell them, I want to show them.ย
Of course, producing original, creative, and engaging content takes time and effort. But itโs by far the best way for prospective clients to know exactly what theyโll get before they hire me.ย
People who donโt like what I share will know not to hire me, while those who do can buy with confidence. What they see here is exactly what theyโll get when we work together. And if this is what they get for free, imagine what theyโll get when they pay for it!

Producing content also makes me better at what I do. I can test out ideas and benefit from the wisdom of crowds.ย
I learn as much from the responses to my posts as I do in creating them, and I discover what resonates and what doesnโt. That way, I can include things that land well in my presentations and workshops and exclude things that donโt.ย
Since launchingย Compliance In The Wild, Iโve been inundated with suggestions for things I could cover. When people are kind enough to take the time to share pictures and ideas with me, I know Iโve got their attention.

When you hireย Human Risk,ย youโre hiring me.ย
Since I donโt have a big brand behind me, I need to establish trust with my clients, which means being authentic about who theyโre hiring.ย
Sharing insights into how I work, what I do, and the way I think, helps deliver that. As does the fact that I'm passionate about my work; I couldn't do it, if I wasn't. Which is why producing content feels less like a chore and more like a privilege.
Of course, the usual answer to where Iโve come from is by train from either London or Munich. Hence the picture.
But since youโve been following me on here, you know that already!
